Our first & modest pub, The Hockey Pub
The Hockey Pub was born from our passion for hockey. In 2011, we found the perfect spot in the old mill in Brașov, and after 4 months of renovation, we transformed it into a pub inspired by Irish and English styles, dedicated to hockey fans.
Moving to the Heart of Brasov
In 2013, we relocated from the old mill to Nicolae Bălcescu 12, bringing the same Hockey Pub spirit to the new, central location in Brașov.
The Story of Aftar Begins
In 2017, Aftar Stube was born at Grigoraș Dinicu nr. 2 in Brașov, marking the start of a new chapter, dedicated to bringing the best of Romanian craft beer culture to life.
Aftar Garden Blooms
In early summer 2019, we opened Aftar Garden, an inviting outdoor space next to Aftar Stube. However, it was a seasonal spot, open only for that summer, before closing at the start of fall.
A New Home for Aftar Stube
In the fall of 2019, after the summer garden closed, we relocated Aftar Stube to the neighboring building, where it adopted an eclectic vibe. This location remains its home to this day, serving as a vibrant space for #aftarpeople to gather and enjoy.
